J. Randy Staff is a Senior Principal at Flexpoint Ford. Prior to joining Flexpoint Ford, Mr. Staff was Executive Vice President of Golden State Bancorp and its predecessors from 1994 to 2002, when the Company was sold to Citigroup. Mr. Staff was primarily responsible for mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Staff was also a Director of First Nationwide Mortgage Corporation and Auto One Acceptance Corporation, where he served as the interim President of both subsidiaries at various times.

Prior to joining Golden State Bancorp, Mr. Staff was associated with the public accounting firm of KPMG LLP (and its predecessors) from 1973 through 1994. Mr. Staff's last position with KPMG was Partner-in-Charge of the Financial Services Practice for the Southwest Region. From 1984 until joining Golden State Bancorp, Mr. Staff was the Partner-in-Charge of KPMG's services to various controlled entities of Mr. Ford, as well as numerous other financial services businesses.

Mr. Staff is currently a Director of Triad Financial Corporation and Hilltop Holdings. Mr. Staff received a BBA from the University of Texas. He became a certified public accountant in 1976.
